This course will take learners through the global and African context of palliative care. The learner will be taken through the developments, policies and studies about palliative care world over.

In this course, the learner will cover ethical theories, ethos, principles and practices. The standards and legal issues will also be covered. Experiences and studies on ethical and legal issues will be analyzed and discussed. The learner will be able to articulate detailed legal and ethical issues with regards to palliative care.
